Graduate Collection 2013 – Identity

Sometimes life happens. It gets in the way of ‘the plan’ & the Important things you love, the things you do driven from passion get pushed to the side. And before you know it, 2 years have passed and you’re no where nearer. But this isn’t to say your passion and desire for these things no longer exist or that you don’t care enough to see them through, does it? It’s just life. And life doesn’t always go to plan, because the plan is idealistic – the world is not. Priorities change. Plans therefore, change. And well, I’m a fair believer in that a lot of things do happen for a reason, and when the timing is right, things will happen. Things begin to fall into place and the past clicks.

Things for me haven’t fallen into place yet. Life happened. And it’s very easy for us Brit’s to be pessimistic and look for the negatives – failing because we’re not where we ideally wanted to be at this point in our lives. I’m not going down that road. I’m not where I Ideally wanted to be right now – but actually It’s okay. Life happens and it teaches you lessons. If I can be where I wanted to be 5 years ago, 5 years later and be in a stronger, more confident place doing so then maybe that’s right for me. Maybe I wasn’t ready before. Maybe some things are more important at different times in our lives. Life goes so fast and nowadays it goes even faster which can be both exciting and overwhelming. Sometimes we forget to just take a step back and see things for what they really are.

Time for a new blog – making time for me, making time to focus and making time to just enjoy the important things in life – Family, Friends, Health & Wellbeing and the Things I Love.
